We will help pay for Transport
fees, up to $500, for each llama that you pay over $2,000 or more for.
For
mothers with babies at side, up to $500, towards transportation is
given to pairs selling for $3,000 or more.
|
|
This $500 per animal should cover transport to
most parts of the country, unless fuel prices keep climbing.
If you are in a remote region or if you do not have an adequate
turn-around for a large trailer, you may be asked to meet the
transporter at a near-by location on his or her route. This will be your
responsibility and at your expense.
We would love to have you pick-up your new animals yourself and spend
some time visiting with us. This is actually our preference. As a thank
you we will deduct $350 per llama you purchase for $1500 or more off the
price if you pick-up the animals yourself.
Arranging transport?
We will help you but do welcome you to arrange your own transport.
For your convenience we have posted a list of haulers below.
Hauling Contracts:
Ultimately we will only act as a middle man for transportation, even
though we are now going the extra step to help you pay for the
transport. While we will help arrange for transportation, we are not
responsible for the transporter or the animal while it is in the
transporters care and after you have purchased the llama(s). We
recommend you purchase insurance for your new animal(s) and to have
insurance coverage for the trip. Some transporters also require a
contract between the animal's owner and the transport company, since you
are the new owner you will be asked to sign this contact in these cases.
